Michael Reese Research & Education Foundation awards Hispanocare "Double your Dollar" match grant toward student schoarship fund
This year (2016), we have the opportunity to double our dollars through a Match grant from the Michael Reese Research and Education Foundation for promoting Hispanic/Latino careers in the health professions. The Michael Reese Research and Education Foundation will match up to $50,000. Since the inception of the Student Scholarship program (1991), Hispanocare has awarded over $512,000 with a total of 177 awards to Hispanic/Latino students. This year we’d like to raise $50,000 and meet the Michael Reese Research and Education Foundation to “Double your Dollars Match” challenge.
How Will My Donation Help a Student's Life? - Many scholarship recipients are first-generation Hispanic/Latino medical and affiliated healthcare students striving to complete their educational goals. For these students, a scholarship award can make a profound difference in the continued success of graduating from school and returning to practice their chosen profession in their community.
