An endowment has been established at the University of Chicago to support an annual lecture honoring a University of Chicago faculty member who embodies the principles of Michael Reese Hospital. Faculty members receiving this award are:

Tara Henderson, MD, MPH

Dr Henderson was the inaugaral speaker for the Michael Reese Lecture and she gave a presentation on Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology: Optimizing Outcomes and Survivorship on April 25, 2019.

 

Sarosh Rana, MD, MPH

Dr Rana’s presentation on October 25, 2019 was Angiogenic Factors and Preeclampsia: Prediction of Adverse Outcomes

 

Candice Norcott, PhD

Dr Norcott gave a presentation Trauma, Resilience, and Sexual Health in Black Women: Building a Translational Program on September 24th 2020.

Michelle M. Le Beau, PhD

Dr Le Beau presented a study on Therapy-Related Myeloid Neoplasms: When Genetics and Environment Collide on November 5, 2021.

David Rubin, MD

Dr Rubin presented a study on The Evolution of Inflammatory Bowel Disease from Desperation
and Crisis Care to Disease Modification and Clearance on June 13, 2023.
