Michael Reese Research and Education Foundation Announces 2025 Grantees

The Michael Reese Research and Education Foundation (MRREF) is excited to announce its 2025 grant recipients, reflecting their commitment to advancing translational research and improving access to healthcare through strategic partnerships and funding. This year, MRREF is supporting the work of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFU), the Medical Organization for Latino Advancement (MOLA), and I Am Abel Foundation through targeted grants fostering medical education and expand opportunities for underrepresented groups in health sciences. MRREF is also proud to continue support for the UIC Pioneers in Research program, which provides support for research on the cusp of qualification for NIH funding, and Legal Council for Health Justice, which works with Illinois communities to reduce barriers to the care and services they need to stay healthy, fed, and housed. Through these multi-year grants MRREF supports essential medical research and ensures Chicago area individuals vulnerable to, and living with, HIV have access to quality legal assistance.
